Queen Maeve
This is a couture crystal & pearl collar with accents of pink and silver jewels. It is a one of a kind piece with each bead individually placed and hand sewn. The piece was inspired the revered, warrior Irish Queen “Maeve” who was believed to have ruled the west of Ireland between 50BC and 50AD. She was know to fearless in the face of her enemies and had five husbands during her life time. I created this piece to transcend from day wear to evening wear. It could be paired with white shirt or an evening gown. Either way it will turn heads and win hearts as it sparkle when you move and glistens in the light. The shoulder area is covered with leaves that can be bent to shape around the shoulders, almost hugging the body. For those brave enough it could be worn topless as the leave can be shaped around the breast area if desired.
It spans 21.5 inches from the back to the to the bottom or 14 inches from the centre V to the tip. It is lined in pink lace and is adjustable at the neck where it ties with a clasp. There is also rope of pearls that hangs from shoulder to shoulder at the back.
